Recently, Suzhou Industrial Technology Research Institute LOGO officially released. The sign was evolved from the small bridge over flowing water, the upper arc constituted the main sign shape, and the bottom was evolved from the English abbreviation "SITRI" of Suzhou Industrial Technology Research Institute.

The design of LOGO centered on the concept of "bridge". The arch bridge served as a representative element of Suzhou. The small bridge over flowing water properly reflected graceful temperament of Suzhou, waterside south of the Yangtze River.

The concept of "bridge" smartly expressed work responsibilities of Suzhou Industrial Technology Research Institute, that is, building a bridge connecting technology and industry, making world's top technology and Suzhou local industry integrated and interlinked.

Secondly, the image of "bridge" conveyed Suzhou Industrial Technology Research Institute goal of attracting global innovation resources, achieving a convenient channel for talent gathering, knowledge flow, and achievement transformation.

The "flowing water" shape composed of 5 letters "SITRI" implied flow of global technologies and talents, emphasizing technologies penetrated into people’s daily life. Spread of technology was not restricted by regions, ort changed by personal will. Suzhou Industrial Technology Research Institute would play a pivotal role in technology flows.

In terms of colors, the design team chose deep sea blue, representing inclusive attitude and technological innovation. Graphics matched sans serif font, providing elegant and vibrant feeling.
